Cold snap moving in

A drop in temperatures and snow are on the cards for the next couple of days, as a cold front moves in the met office said.

Isolated showers are expected on Tuesday, mainly on the west and north coast, as northwest winds gradually pick up force through the day.

Temperatures are expected to reach 19 Celsius inland and 21 on the north and eastern coast. The temperature in Western and northern coastal areas will be 20 degrees and 13 in higher regions.

Some clouds are expected on Wednesday accompanied with rain in some areas and possible isolated storms. Snow is expected in the mountain areas. Temperatures will drop markedly, lower than normal for the season.

Good weather on Thursday and Friday and gradual rise in temperatures, which will close to normal.
