Over €1 million for Peyia from beach service rentals

The Peyia municipality made revenues of over €1 million between the months of April and October 2018 from the beaches it manages and rents out.

According to the mayor of Peyia, Marinos Lambrou, the Coral Bay beach is managed exclusively by the municipality, which collects revenues from the rental of sunbeds, umbrellas and the kiosk sales, while staff are municipal employees.

The municipality also rented out two other beaches following offers that were made.

The revenues of 2018 are at the same level as those made in 2017, Lambrou added.
