AEK begin Europa League campaign with win

AEK celebrate scoring the only goal of the game after just three minutes

Hector Hevel scored after just three minutes as AEK Larnaca beat Moldovan side Petrocub 1-0 in the first leg of their opening Europa League qualifying match on Thursday evening.

Apollon were also in action against Kauno Zalgiris in Lithuania, with the Limassol side winning 2-0.
