Apoel begin Champions League campaign with win in Montenegro

Apoel will take a 1-0 advantage into next week's second leg of their opening Champions League qualifier

Apoel kicked-off their European campaign with a 1-0 win over FK Sutjeska in Montenegro on Tuesday night.

Tomas De Vincenti’s 42nd-minute penalty settled the first leg of the Champions League first qualifying round match, with the Cyprus champions hosting the Montenegrins in the second leg next week.
