Joint campaign to raise road safety awareness among teens

Police in collaboration with the star motorcycle club Cyprus launched a joint campaign on Tuesday to raise traffic consciousness among teenagers.

The campaign, under the title “Together we can go far” was presented at the diocese of Tamassos and Orinis.

The aim of the campaign is to inform young people on the right use and dangers of motorcycles, police said. It includes lectures and interactive workshops for teens from 14 to 19 years old.

It is divided in three phases, starting initially from Tseri municipality, Lythrodonta and Ayia Varvara communities.

Minerva insurance support the campaign, which is under the auspices of the Metropolitan of Tamassos and Orinis, Isaias.
