Paphos home burgled

A British permanent resident of the village of Tremithousa in the Paphos district reported to police that €6.900 worth of cash and valuables were stolen from her home on Friday night.

The woman, 53, told police that thieves broke into her home between 5.30pm and 11.15pm and took €5,500 in cash, jewellery, and a mobile phone.

Police said the perpetrators had entered the house through the kitchen door.
