Fire destroys kiosk

A fire detected at around 1:15am on Monday morning at a kiosk in Dromolaxia, was promptly extinguished by the Larnaca Fire Brigade, whose quick response prevented its spread to neighbouring properties.
The cost of the damages to the kiosk, which is owned by a 30-year-old resident of Dromolaxia, will be determined later on Monday.
The origins of the fire are under investigation by the police, fire brigade and the Electromechanical Services Department.
