British man drowns in swimming pool

A 37-year-old British man found dead in a swimming pool had drowned, a post mortem showed on Wednesday.

The man was found just before 5pm on Tuesday in the pool of his parents’ house in Tala.

Damien Summer was found floating unconscious by his parents, who had just returned from an excursion.

He was rushed to Paphos hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said there was no indication of foul play.
