Cannabis plants found in Larnaca home

Ten cannabis plants from 2.2 to 3 metres tall were found on Friday by drug-squad members in a 34-year-old’s home in Larnaca.

According to a police report, Larnaca drug squad members searched the 34-year-old’s home on the strength of a search warrant.

During the search, the man led the policemen to his home’s yard, and pointed to an area where the 10 plants were planted.

The 34-year-old was arrested and detained.

The Larnaca drug squad continues to investigate the case.
