Bank of Cyprus offers innovative services

The Bank of Cyprus has created a new, novel branch which aims to meet customer needs in a modern way, bringing innovative solutions to the Cypriot banking system, both in terms of interior design and the services it provides.

The new branch has a fresh, minimal design, denoting the professionalism inherent in the entire organisation. Beyond the modern design, the branch also offers innovative services, such as an area with a controlled access system that works around the clock, allowing customers to use a number of services whenever they see fit. The area includes three ATMs specifically designed for corporate services, as well as four for personal banking services.

At the same time, the branch also includes a ‘Meet and Greet’ area which operates during normal working hours. This area is designed to have customers welcomed by bank staff who will then be able to answer any questions and direct them to the most appropriate place for their desired services.

The branch also contains specialised conference rooms in which customers can have face to face meetings with bank staff. This will allow the bank staff and the customer to more comfortably exchange views.

Furthermore, in line with recent technological trends, the new branch will also use electronic signatures rather than pen and paper document signings. This is part of the bank’s plans to go paperless and improve its carbon footprint.

The new branch can be found in a main Nicosia location, close to Iosif Hadjiiosif avenue, provides easy access as well as parking for customers arriving by car.

ATM services:

1. ATM (x2): Deposits, withdrawals, transfers, account balance, print account statement

2. Business deposits: Deposits of banknotes, coins, checks using special security envelopes

3. Automated Business Deposits / 360 Notes: Banknote deposits from companies using a special code which is registered using the machine

4. Automated Business Deposits / 360 Coins: Coin deposits from companies using a special code which is registered using the machine

5. Coin deposits: Counting the value of all coins deposited and issuing a special deposit receipt followed by an automatic deposit in an account that will be entered by the customer

6. Coin withdrawal: Special machine for the automatic withdrawal of coins as defined by the customer
