Workshop offers chance to escape the loop

fabrika kollektiv

The Fabrika KollektiV is a local art-based collective bringing together like-minded individuals who aim to use artistic methods and mediums as tools of social change in an attempt to raise awareness, provoke thought and action. As part of this, they have created a series of expressive workshops and gatherings titled ‘escape/the – loop’ that aim to bring people together from different backgrounds, escaping from the urban loop, the norms, the stereotypes, and reconnecting and supporting youth for self-development.

This Friday the collective is organising a gathering in Limassol with the support of ESC Volunteering Project under the local ESC project Solid.Art. The 6pm workshop will use non-formal educational methodologies combined with a diversity of arts.

“Our focus will be on reconnecting with ourselves and others after a long time of internal and external isolation caused by the uncertainty of the pandemic,” says Fabrika KollektiV. “After the workshop we will be playing around, jamming, juggling and connecting further. Feel free to bring whatever you feel like sharing with the circle!”
