Today’s Weather: Clear and warm with occasional clouds

On Tuesday the weather will be mostly clear although locally increased cloud cover will be observed at times, especially in the western half of the island. Winds will be south-westerly to north-westerly, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally moderate, 4 Beaufort becoming moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort in the afternoon. The sea will generally be slightly rough in the afternoon and in the south, up to rough.

Temperatures will rise to 37 C inland, 34 C on the northern coasts, 32 C on the southern and eastern coasts and 30 C degrees on the western coasts and higher mountains.

On Tuesday night the weather will be mostly clear but in the west and north, there will be occasional increased low cloud cover. In the morning hours, thin fog and low clouds may form locally, mainly in the east. Winds will be south-westerly to north-westerly and later locally north-easterly, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, becoming light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to 23 C degrees in the interior and on the coasts and 19 C in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the weather will be mostly clear, but locally there will be temporarily increased cloud cover with a chance of isolated showers in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains or in the interior. A possible storm is not ruled out on Thursday, mainly in the mountains, in the southeast and in the northeast.

The temperature is not expected to change appreciably.
