Drugs bust

A 35-YEAR-OLD Greek Cypriot was arrested in Paphos on Friday for illegally cultivating and possessing drugs with the intent to sell, and use of a restricted medicinal drug.
According to a police report, following a search of thee 35-year-old’s residence in Tala, Paphos, members of the Paphos drug squad found three cannabis plants in the yard, each approximately 10 centimetres tall.
When questioned, the 35-year-old claimed he had been growing the plants for his own use, and was released after being charged.
