Turkish Cypriots arrest man near Dhekelia

A 70-YEAR-OLD man from Liopetri village, Famagusta district, was arrested by the Turkish Cypriot police force while visiting an area near Ayios Nikolaos village, according to the Cyprus news Agency.
According to the report, the 70-year-old man was arrested at around noon on Monday. He was accompanied by his 64-year-old brother.

The brother notified Dhekelia station police who in turn contacted the authorities. The two men were visiting the area to have a look at a plot of land for sale, according to the report.

The 70-year-old man is expected to appear before a Turkish Cypriot court on Tuesday.
