Gold, watches, a computer and a Yorkshire terrier have been reported stolen from the home of a British couple on the Larnaca Dhekelia road.

According to the police, at around 9.30 on Thursday night the couple reported to the Oroklini police station that while they were out of the house between 4.20 and 9.15 someone had broken in.

The couple said things had been stolen from various rooms in the house including jewellery and watches worth €10,000, and the six-year-old pet, who they say has been micro-chipped.
