On the November 7, my husband Peter was in acute pain and distress after not passing urine since the day before after having a catheter removed to see if he could pass water correctly ready for his chemotherapy the following week.
At 2 am, I drove him to Accident and Emergency Hospital Paphos. It was déjà vu, as just two weeks earlier we had been doing the same thing. The policeman standing at the door called for someone in A/E, and my husband was taken straight through and once again his condition was treated with great care and attention. Once they made sure he was OK we were on our way home. I would just like to say having walked into A/E we were greeted by the director of the department Dr. Neofyta Chrysanthou. She was very kind and reassured me that my husband would be fine. This department is certainly a credit to Paphos General Hospital. Well done to you all and a huge thank you.
