Four cars damaged in Limassol blast

Four cars were damaged by an explosion early Thursday in Limassol caused by a device placed under one of the vehicles, which was owned by a 39-year old man, police said.

According to police, the explosion occurred at around 4.15am on the car of the 39-year old located in the parking lot of the apartment building where he lives. The blast damaged three other vehicles, as well as the front entrance of the building

Police said the explosion was caused by an improvised high-powered device. The total cost of damage is not yet estimated.
