‘Adopt a Family for Easter’ campaign launched

The ‘Adopt a Family for Easter’ campaign, aimed at helping people struggling financially was launched on Monday, the Pancyprian Volunteerism Council said.

The aim is that no family or child is left without the necessities needed for them to enjoy the Easter holidays.

The council called on the public to raise awareness of the campaign, sharing the information with their classmates, colleagues, employees, family and friends, encouraging them to “adopt a family for Easter”.

People can donate anything ranging from Easter eggs to money and food or whatever they feel can make a family happy during the celebrations, before the deadline on April 22.
