Blue Air plans fund raiser flight to Rhodes

Blue Air is organising a charity flight to the island of Rhodes on April 9 to raise funds for the Miracle Babies (morathavmata) foundation to buy a new ventilator for the neonatal intensive care unit at the Makarios hospital in Nicosia.

“The aim of this flight is to gather as much money as possible and therefore the price of the ticket is €150, including taxes,” a relevant announcement said. Departure from Larnaca is scheduled at 9am. The price includes a visit to the church of Panayia Tsambika, while the return flight will depart from Rhodes at 7pm.

“All proceeds will go to the neonatal and premature babies’ intensive care unit of the Makarios Hospital, for the purchase of a new ventilator,” an announcement said.

“Everyone’s help is important to show our support to children in need,” the announcement said.
