Everyday street scenes

Tomorrow the Opus 39 gallery in Nicosia will open a solo photography exhibition by Anastasia Adamidou entitled Streets Squared.

Adamidou works in the Press and Information Office and photography is her favourite hobby. This is her second solo exhibition and, as the title suggests, it features a collection of everyday street scenes. In these scenes the human factor is always present and it is the dominant element in the captured image.

These images seem to centre on aspects within the frame in such a way that the edges draw the audience into the exact moment captured on the streets.

Streets Squared
Solo exhibition by Anastasia Adamidou. Opens April 11 at 7.30pm until April 27. Opus 39 Gallery, 21 Kimonos Street, Nicosia. Monday: 5pm-8pm. Tuesday-Friday: 10.30am-12.30pm and 5pm-8pm. Tel: 22-424983
