Police search for man connected to teen drug death

Police on Wednesday issued a wanted person bulletin for 39-year-old Charalambos Sakko, in connection with a manslaughter investigation over the death of a teenager in Limassol

Sakko, from the Trachoni area in Limassol, is wanted for the illegal supply of class A drugs and illegal possession of class A and B drugs on June 14 this year.

The 18-year-old had been supplied with drugs at a café in Trachoni which resulted in him falling into a coma and eventually dying a day before his 18th birthday earlier this month.

Three Syrian nationals had been arrested in connection with supplying the boy with methamphetamine, while Sakko is the cafeteria owner.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact Limassol CID at 25-805060, 25-805057, the closest police station to them or the citizens line at 1460.
