Police confiscate large stash of laughing gas

Police confiscated a large amount of nitrous oxide, better known as laughing gas, which they found in a kiosk in the Famagusta area around midnight on Friday.

According to a police spokesman, officers found 1,145 ampoules, 288 balloons and 36 large cannisters during a search of the kiosk.

The kiosk owner was questioned and released.
