The weather alert is in place from noon until 6pm.

Temperatures will rise to 20C inland and near the coast and 11C around Troodos.

At night, they will drop to 6C inland, 10 to 13C in coastal areas and 1C in the higher mountains, where frost will form and some sleet or snow is likely to fall.

On Thursday and Friday more isolated rains and snow will fall around Troodos.

On Saturday, the skies are going to be mostly clear.

Temperatures will drop on Thursday and are expected to remain at the same levels during the coming days.
