The Take Away Project serving street food, drinks and music

poster (1)

As events are still a bit thin on the ground something else is coming to Nicosia this week. The Take Away Project is a simple concept and its title sums it up quite well. Potbelly Nicosia, a joint that opened last year specialising in pulled pork sandwiches and burgers, is turning up the heat on its BBQs once again to serve hungry crowds.

On Sunday, pulled pork fans can finally visit the Potbelly Nicosia again for a taste of their dishes, order them for take away and get a feel of those daytime events that once entertained our weekends. Remember the ones with loud music, all-day street food and catching up with friends around high tables and beer kegs? Those ones.

A similar vibe is what the Potbelly Nicosia is hoping for this Sunday as Zonkey bar will be serving their signature cocktails, San Miguel beers will be on the menu and DJ Bkas will be playing some tunes. The fun will begin at 5.30pm and the Potbelly team says it’s the perfect event for street food lovers.
