The Cyprus-Greece Business Association will take part at the Thessaloniki International Fair which will take place between September 11 and September 19 of this year.

The association’s president Iosif Iosif has been invited to participate in a number of events scheduled during the fair, including the fair’s opening ceremony.

During the fair, Iosif will meet with a number of Greek government officials, including officials from various Greek chambers, as well as some of the people behind the fair itself.

In a press release on the association’s participation in the fair, the Cyprus-Greece Business association highlighted their work in northern Greece and how they facilitate business relations between the two countries.

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry has released a statement saying that they are open to suggestions and ideas that will lead to electricity prices being driven down.

“We are implementing our strategy for switching to green energy and containing the rise of electricity prices to the benefit of all households, businesses and the competitiveness of the Cypriot economy and we are open to discuss new ideas,” the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday, September 7.

“The ministry continues to work tirelessly and on a daily basis to implement the strategy that will lead the country to the era of green and clean energy, which will bring prosperity to the citizens and competitiveness in our economy,” the statement added, explaining that ‘where there is room’ the ministry will consider the implementation of new measures that will reduce the price of electricity.

London-based investment fund Caius Capital has decreased its stake in the Bank of Cyprus.

According to a report provided to the Cyprus Stock Exchange, Caius Capital’s stake in the Bank of Cyprus Holdings (BOCH) has gone from 9.58 per cent to 8.55 per cent.

Caius Capital describes itself as an investment manager that ‘focuses on distressed and special situations, long and short investments across the capital structure within a three-part framework: identification of Investment Themes, extensive Fundamental Research and careful Risk Management’.
