Coronavirus: Drug driver fined for breaking curfew

A man in Paphos was stopped in on Wednesday night for driving under the influence of drugs and violating the curfew.

Officers stopped the 31-year-old driver around midnight as part of routine checks.

He tested positive for drugs and was fined €300 for leaving his home late at night without the necessary exemption.

His car was searched but nothing suspicious was found.
