Concert on the open sea

13 june catamaran concertweb

Limassol-based pianist Tatiana Stupak is back this summer with another special concert, not only in terms of repertoire and performers but also in location. If you have never been to a concert at sea, this concert on June 13 could change that.

Onboard the Salone catamaran in Limassol’s Old Port, Tatiana will perform a solo show titled Songs of Ice and Fire celebrating great film music with songs cinephiles and beyond know and love. The reason for choosing such a different location for this summer concert is to celebrate the fact that the pianist broke the Guinness World Record in January this year for the Highest Concert on the planet. She is to celebrate her achievement at her birthday concert this year, not in a traditional concert venue, but for a change, on the open sea.

The event will begin at 7pm where guests will be greeted on board with a welcome drink. The entertainment will start at 8pm and will last one hour, and will be provided by Tatiana playing a solo performance of popular film music on the piano. She will also have a special guest vocalist, Maria Voloshina.

Audience members will hear for the first time in Cyprus, a concert of music by the award-winning composer Hans Zimmer, who has written music for over 150 films, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Dune, The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, The Last Samurai, Sherlock Holmes, Batman, Superman, Man of Steel, Dark Phoenix. And that’s not all. The entertainment at sea will conclude with a firework show.
