Drug-squad officer’s home fire-bombed

The house of a Famagusta police constable serving with the anti-drug squad YKAN was damaged in the early hours of Friday by a fire started by a Molotov cocktail, authorities said.

Police said that at about 1.30am, a rubbish collection crew put out the fire which had lightly damaged the house’s wall and water hoses.
