Samaras to visit Cyprus

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras

GREEK PRIME Minister Antonis Samaras will be in Cyprus on November 7 ahead of the tripartite meeting in Cairo on November 8 between Cyprus Greece and Egypt.

The meeting in Cairo is taking place to discuss ways of further boosting cooperation and relations among the three Mediterranean nations, and, from Nicosia’s perspective, as a bulwark against Turkish provocations inside Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

Ahead of the leaders’ summit, the foreign ministers of the three nations are scheduled to hold preparatory talks in Nicosia on October 29.
