Rocking all over again

By Maria Gregoriou

Cypriot 90s rock band To Marazi Tis Fotoulas (Fotoula’s Woes), will be bringing their sounds into the 21st century in Nicosia and Limassol over the next few days.

The five piece band – who are Pan Meraklis on vocals and electrical guitar, Mike Zaxariadis on bass, Spyros Kypriakidis on drums, Andros Kyriakou on electric guitar and Marianna Kofterou also on vocals – are coming to rock us in a good old fashion way for four nights.

Their rocking and rolling woes start in Nicosia tomorrow at New Division club, on Saturday in Limassol at Teppee Rock bar, on Monday in Nicosia, old town, and with the New Year on Monday January 5 at Enallax in Nicosia.

The band, as they put it, hope they can “transform woes into light” with their performances and invite us all to take part in this journey.
