An easier new school year for those in need

THE Andrey and Julia Dashin’s Foundation is inviting the public to its charity event to celebrate the end of its “Back to School” campaign on Saturday at Molos amphitheatre in Limassol to celebrate the International Day of Charity.

At the event, which will be attended by founders Andrey and Julia Dashin, mayor Andreas Christou and the director of the Limassol district social welfare service, around 200 school bags with stationery will be given to children of low income families.

Since its launch in May 2014, the foundation has cooperated closely with Limassol’s social welfare services to help children in need.

The event will begin at 6pm with a short presentation and speeches, followed by a rich entertainment programme. Afterwards, children will receive their school backpacks filled with stationery.

Entrance to the event is free. School bags will be given only to children holders of the relevant coupon provided by the Dashin foundation via the social welfare service.
