Car torched in Nicosia district

At around 3.10 am on Thursday a fire broke out in a car used by a 20-year-old woman which was parked in an open plot in the Nicosia district.

The blaze, which was extinguished by the fire department, completely destroyed the car.

Investigations into the cause ascertained that the fire was set maliciously using highly inflammable material.

Kokkinotrimithia police are continuing the investigation.
