Rain and storms are expected later on Monday with a drop in temperature until Thursday.
According to the met office, a low pressure front will affect the island in the next few days. On Monday, it will be mainly sunny during the day with clouds gathering in the afternoon. Initially winds will be moderate but in the afternoon strong and locally very strong.
The temperature is expected to reach 28C inland, 25C in coastal areas, and 18C in the higher mountains.
In the evening temperatures will drop to 16C inland and 10C in mountainous areas with rain expected.
On Tuesday, the weather will be mostly cloudy with local showers and isolated storms and lower temperatures.
By Wednesday it is going to be mostly sunny with some clouds and no change in temperatures. As of Thursday slightly warmer weather is expected.
