Larnaca bus drivers call off strike

Public bus drivers in Larnaca on Saturday called off a strike scheduled for Tuesday after coming to an agreement with their management over their salaries.

Zenon drivers had announced a strike for Tuesday after they did not get paid for March. Unions said on Saturday they had received assurances that salaries will be paid by Tuesday.

Drivers working for the public transport companies in Nicosia and Limassol have also announced strikes starting Tuesday over pay disputes.
