Archbishop back to duties after spinal surgery

Archbishop Chrysostomos inspected the construction works of a new cathedral, a week after spinal surgery, it was announced on Friday.

The archbishop returned to his duties on Wednesday, two days after he was released from the White Cross clinic in Athens, where he had undergone the surgery last Saturday under the care of the director of the neurosurgery clinic Dr Theologos Theologou.

According to the announcement, the Archbishop is feeling well and his doctor is satisfied with the results.

On Friday he inspected the construction of the Apostle Varnavas cathedral in the courtyard of the Holy Archdiocese.
