Over 100 third-country nationals, in Cyprus illegally, sent home

Police on Friday announced it sent 105 third-country nationals found to be living illegally in Cyprus back to their country of origin on a chartered flight.

This was made possible after a coordinated operation by the police aliens and immigration unit and Frontex.

“A total of 105 third-country nationals residing illegally in Cyprus departed today on a chartered flight to their home country,” police said.

They did not specify what country that was.
