TGIF: three smooth pre-dinner cocktails to fix at home

Thank God It’s Friday… even if we’re still weathering Covid-soured times, rather than stepping out for dinner and drinks.

But all is not lost. Before you enjoy a well-earned meal at home, whip up these three cocktails to usher in that smooth, pre-weekend feel.

The video’s featured drinks – The Moscow Mule, the Cosmopolitan, and the Lemon Drop cocktail – call for use of Grey Goose vodka. Feel free to substitute with your vodka brand of choice.

Instructions and ingredients:

Moscow Mule

• 1.5 oz Grey Goose Vodka
• 0.5 oz lime juice
• 3 oz ginger beer
• Lime wedge (optional)
• Fresh slice of ginger (optional)

Directions: Fill the mug with ice, pour in Grey Goose vodka, lime juice and ginger beer/Sprite. Stir the ingredients together. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of ginger (optional).

Lemon Drop Recipe

• 2 oz Grey Goose Le Citron
• 0.75 oz triple sec
• 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz simple syrup

Directions: Rub a lemon half around a martini glass rim and roll the rim in sugar. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add in Grey Goose Le Citron, triple sec, lemon juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into the sugar-rimmed martini glass.

Cosmopolitan Recipe

• 2 oz Grey Goose L’Orange
• 0.75 oz triple sec
• 0.75 oz cranberry juice
• 0.5 oz lime juice or 2 fresh lime wedges
• Lime wedge for garnish (Optional)

Directions: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add in Grey Goose L’Orange, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice (or squeeze two fresh lime wedges) into a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wedge (optional).
