Tilda Swinton: Cannes is about the friends, not the films

In this video, actress Tilda Swinton, star of director Wes Anderson’s upcoming ‘The French Dispatch’, talks about her long history of attending the Cannes Film Festival and the handful of movies she will be premiering there this year.

Running from July 6-17, the Festival is back again this year, with some of 2020’s pandemic-postponed movies carried over, in addition to completely fresh films.

Marking Anderson’s return to Cannes for the first time since his Oscar-nominated ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ opened the 2012 edition, ‘French Dispatch’ stars Swinton, Bill Murray, Timothée Chalamet, Léa Seydoux, Benicio del Toro, Elisabeth Moss, Owen Wilson and Frances McDormand.
