In the framework of the exhibitions Project Room #7, Frenk Bey, Fortress and the Thing by Hasan Aksaygın, Contemporary Photographic Practices #2, Sensing is Believing, Believing is Seeing by Adonis Archontides and One Hundred Fifty-Eight Attempts for Revision by Nicolas Lambouris, NiMAC organises a series of educational programmes this summer titled Fantastic Worlds and Forms for children aged six to ten years old this.

The children who will participate in the programme will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the contemporary photographic and visual practices of the artists. Through interactive activities and role play, they will be called upon to activate their imagination and senses, as well as their whole body.

To create their own works of art, they will listen to audio clips and experiment with processes of expansion, rearrangement, combinations and modifications, by taking photos and employing the technique of collage. The programme has been designed by museum educator Elena Panayiotou and will take place on May 14, 18, 28, as well as on June 4 and 18 and July 2 and 16 at various times.
