Larnaca district court remanded a 23-year-old man for eight days on Wednesday in connection with importing 13 kilos of cannabis.
At around 2pm on Tuesday, the drug squad and customs at Larnaca airport inspected a suitcase which contained four bags totaling 13kg of cannabis. The 23-year-old was positive for a narcotest and was arrested for illegal import and possession of drugs, with the intent to sell.
The drug squad continues investigations.
