Music nights on the horizon

Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca are gearing up to host an array of sensational performances this week. From rock and party anthems to acoustic sets and jazzy beats, there is an exciting agenda of live music performances happening soon. Nightlife and music lovers, take note!

Adding fun and entertainment mid-week is the local five-piece band Minus One, which this Wednesday will perform at New Division. From 9.30pm onwards, the party band will take over the floor to play uplifting covers and hit songs while the bar serves cold beers and cocktails.

As the weekend approaches, more live music gigs will be held. In Larnaca, Savino Live will welcome Andreas Moiseos and his band on Friday night performing songs from the album Stathmos as well as selected covers. The music will begin around 10pm when the five musicians will take the stage.

Also happening on Friday is a jazzy night in Limassol as Vinylio Wine Etc welcomes Kakia Fesa on vocals, saxophonist Marios Papares and guitarist Andreas Yerolatsitis. The three musicians will present a selection of jazz songs throughout the evening.

A bit of jazz will also sound in Nicosia. Sarah’s Jazz Club will host Ezgi Akgürgen on Friday who alongside Cahit Kutrafali on bass and Kadir Evre on guitar will perform jazz, RnB and soul. Something different will take over the jazz club on Saturday – southern rock, blues and classic rock ballads.

The Time Ride band will perform cover tunes made famous by music legends such as Aerosmith, Five Finger Death Punch, Garry Moore, Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams. Rocking out on stage will be George Charalambous, Stavros Kouvelis, Andreas Tapas, Demetra Philippou and Panayiotus Englezakis.
