Why did the Tyrannosaurus Rex have such tiny arms?

Tyrannosaurus Rex’s tiny arms are often joked about, given their minute scale in comparison to their legs. But were their surprisingly muscular upper limbs actually more useful than they’re given credit for?

In this video, Kieran Miles, a scientist at London’s Natural History Museum, reveals some of the theories as to the functions of the dinosaur’s famously-disproportionate small appendages.
