The bear cub whose best friend led him back to the wild

Every pet deserves a loving and respectful home: please only consider acquiring a pet if you will be able to take care of its long-term needs. Also, consider choosing your animal companion from a shelter, where there are so many wonderful furry friends who need a forever home.

In this video, we meet Casper, a rescued baby black bear cub who had to learn how to walk without the normal resource of his mum, and helped by his foster humans on his journey back to the wild.

But what really made a difference to Casper’s progress? None other than a special friendship with another rescue cub, Dudley.
