Coronavirus: 22 individuals, four businesses booked for breaking decree

In a span of 24 hours, police booked 22 people and four businesses for violating coronavirus measures.

Between 6am on Wednesday and 6am on Thursday, there were a total of 3,376 inspections across the country.

In Nicosia, there were 1,067 during which two people and one establishment were fined.

In Limassol, 515 inspections were carried out, from which 11 individuals and one business were booked. Meanwhile, there were 575 inspections in Larnaca, where two people and one business were booked.

Officers in Paphos carried out 345 inspections in which one business and two people and one establishment were booked. In Famagusta, there were 486 inspections resulting in five people being booked. In the Morphou area, 220 inspections were carried out and there were no bookings.

Traffic police carried out 159 inspections across the country and there were no bookings.

Inspections at ports did not find any violations
