Police on Sunday said they returned to their owners three cars reported as stolen after the vehicles were found in various locations in Limassol during patrols.

The three vehicles, reported as stolen during the past few days, were located during police patrols in various areas of Limassol, between 11 pm Saturday and 12.15 am Sunday.

One of them, reported stolen in Paphos on Friday, was located parked in an area in Polemidia.

Another one was located on Amathountos Avenue. Patrolling officers saw the car parked near the street with the boot door open and the rear bumper missing. The car was reported stolen on October 15.

The third vehicle, reported stolen last Sunday by a car rental company in Ayios Athanasios, was located also in a Limassol area, police said. Its licence plates were missing but police were able to trace the owner through its engine number.

All three vehicles were picked up by their owners, police said, while investigations continue.
