Thieves net 16,000 euros from two Paphos burglaries

Paphos police are investigating two cases of burglary which netted thieves a total of 16,000 euros over the weekend.

Police said that in Tsada, a 71-year-old homeowner reported that a small safe was taken from his home containing documents and 10,000 in cash.

In Letymbou another homeowner said someone had broken in and stolen 6,000 in cash.

Police have collected evidence from both crime scenes and are investigating.
