In today’s episode, the new relaxations of the restrictive measures against Covid-19 came into force as of yesterday.

Under the new rules, it will no longer be necessary to show a SafePass in public areas except for visits to nursing homes, closed areas, hospital outpatient clinics, medical and diagnostic centres.

Elsewhere, Labour Minister Zeta Emilianidou suffered a cerebral aneurysm on Sunday night and has been transported to a hospital in Athens, the government announced.

In other news, the latest bout of dust in the atmosphere was due to have dissipated by this morning after light rainfall in many areas over the weekend.

According to the met office, April had seen unprecedented amounts of dust at higher-than-permissible pollution levels.
