A Christmas bicycle ride around Limassol town

If you are looking for something fun, active and different this week, here is an exciting suggestion. Away from the festive crowded events, the Christmas carols and the markets is a guided bicycle ride around the town of Limassol. The event on Wednesday is an annual occasion organised by the Limassol Cycling Club, inviting the public an evening cycling route.

From 7pm to 8.30pm, the Club will host a Christmas-themed cycling journey with festive music. Here to add their touch to the season’s holiday magic, the Limassol Cycling Club will guide cyclists through an easy bike ride around town. The route will cover 10km on asphalt road, lasting for an hour and a half, making it easy to follow and family-friendly.

Cyclists will meet at Gregory Afxentiou square at 7pm from where the ride will begin. Participants are encouraged to come dressed up in their best festive attire, either in a Santa costume or a Christmas-themed outfit. All types of bicycles are welcome, unusual or ordinary, as long they have front and rear lights. The Cycling Club’s music trolley will be playing Christmas songs along the way, for a jolly, fun cycling evening.
