I live in a villa at Aphrodite Hills Kouklia with my young daughter, also resident is Millie our adorable Cocker Spaniel.

Best childhood memory?
Holiday’s spent in Blackpool with my much loved grandparents.

Most frequented restaurant and absolute favourite dish?
Elea Estate, Yeriskipou, Paphos for the oven baked Sea Bream, Greek salad, Cyprus potatoes baked with Cyprus olive oil.

What food would you really turn your nose up to?
Offal of any type – it’s truly my very worst nightmare food wise.

What did you have for breakfast?
Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs Sunday morning treat.

Would you class yourself as a day or night person? What’s your idea of the perfect night/day out?
Night person as I love going out with friends to enjoy good food, drink wine, talk, laugh, until the morning wake up call, then I sometimes wish I was less of a night person!

Best book ever read?
I don’t think one can have a ‘best’ book as each read is a different experience but, I enjoyed recently – Days We Have Seen by Peter Moore, here an English couple caught up in the 1974 Cyprus conflict manage to show us in both words and pictures not only the suffering of the refugees but the book succeeds in reflecting so well the inherent dignity of the Cypriot people.

Favourite film of all time and why?
As a child I always loved the books of CS Lewis and the film Shadowlands really affected me, it’s the poignant story of the man and his journey towards love and its tragic ending, a truly moving film biography.

Favorite holiday destination?
Always Italy, the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Positano,I love the food, wine, especially the local made Limoncello liqueur, it’s all about the scent, sights, and sounds, Oh! and not forgetting Italian made shoes and handbags.

What’s your dream trip?
I enjoy sailing so it would have to be a long lazy cruise around the US Virgin Islands, visiting St Barts, St Croix, and Water Island.

Al Jarreau – Live in Montreal Jazz Festival.

What is always in your fridge?
Just the essentials really, smoked salmon, cheese, yogurt, chocolate, and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

Dream house: rural retreat or urban dwelling? Where would it be, what would it be like?
I have to always be close to water so I need one of each please, the country retreat would be on the English coast somewhere like Polperro which is a lovely Cornish fishing village, the urban choice would have to be in London, preferably a penthouse apartment overlooking the River Thames.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
It would have to be Coco Chanel, I not only loved her creativity, she was also witty, clever, often feisty, but absolutely determined to succeed in everything she did, she originated these famous quotes – ‘Nature gives you the face you have at twenty; it’s up to you to merit the face you have at fifty’ and – my other favourite – ‘There are people who have money, and people who are rich’.

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
I would go find a Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale -drive it as fast as it will travel (187mph) to the accompaniment of my favourite CD playing very very loud.

What is your greatest fear?
I have a strong sense of responsibility for the people who work with me and letting them down in any way shape or form would be unacceptable, so I would say a fear of failure would the one thing that would keep me awake at night.

Tell me a joke…
Sorry, I believe I have a medical condition called Witzelsucht which is an inability to tell good jokes (or even to remember them once told)
