A total of eight flights, four departures and four arrivals to and from Larnaca airport, and Frankfurt and Munich have been disrupted due to a strike by workers in the German airline Lufthansa.

In a written statement Hermes airports said the affected flights had been scheduled between the early hours of Wednesday, and Friday afternoon “four departures and four arrivals”.

Lufthansa has already made alternative arrangements for affected passengers, the statement said.

The airline’s pilots are due to strike from Wednesday until Friday, affecting over 400,000 passengers in total.
